Most students spend around 3–4 hours per week in total, including the 1:1 lesson and short practice between sessions. The goal is consistency, not hours of studying every night. If your schedule gets busy, we can adjust the workload while keeping the most important speaking and retrieval work in place.
The programme is personalised around where you are now. It works particularly well for learners who already know some Spanish but struggle to retrieve it naturally when speaking. We identify what you already know, what is still slowing you down, and build your practice around those specific gaps rather than following a generic syllabus.
Many learners already understand a lot of grammar and vocabulary but still hesitate in conversation. Instead of endlessly adding new material, we focus on making what you know easier to retrieve and use. Your lessons, homework, speaking practice and feedback are all built around the specific things preventing you from speaking more naturally.
The programme should challenge you, not take over your life. The normal workload is kept short and focused, and we can adjust it when work, family or travel gets busy. What matters most is continuing to show up consistently and focusing on the practice that will have the biggest impact on your Spanish.
You’ll book an initial call where we talk through your current Spanish, your goals, what you’ve already tried and what is currently holding you back. We’ll decide whether the programme is a good fit, and if it is, we’ll map out the areas we need to focus on first.
The programme is built around an initial 90-day focus period, where we identify your biggest speaking bottlenecks and work intensively on improving them. Many students continue beyond the first 90 days because they want to keep developing their fluency, listening, vocabulary and confidence. There is no expectation that Spanish is “finished” after three months.
